Witty (she/they) is a two-spirit musician based in Anchorage, Alaska. They use their voice to speak on indigenous issues, participating in events and celebrating indigeneity around Alaska throughout the year. They use music to approach topics with a beautiful auditory experience matched with thoughtful and poetic lyrics.
Witty Youngman has been performing since 2012. They are a descendant of King Island Inupiat and an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Sioux tribe. They grew up on and outside the Gila River Indian Reservation (Phoenix, Arizona).
