Merna is from Akiachak and currently resides in Anchorage, Alaska. She is the daughter of Jimmy Lomack of Akiacuaq and Mary Ann Lomack originally from Kuiggluk. Merna enjoys hand crafting to preserve her culture and art and to inspire Alaska Native artists
to continue parka making through sharing my process. Her work includes making arctic ground squirrel parkas.
