Deeply rooted in her maternal homeland, Áak'w Kwáan Aaní is where Rochelle Smallwood dreams and creates. She is an Indigenous artist with Lingít and Aztec heritage and am L'eeneidí/Yaxtétaan. Just as her ancestors who came before her, Smallwood shares their histories and keeps traditions alive through the creation of art and storytelling.
