Apay'uq is a contemporary Yup'ik artist and activist known for her acrylic paintings and murals that depict the best of the Yup'ik way of life, the natural beauty of Bristol Bay, and the importance of salmon to her people. She lives and works in Bristol Bay, where she is inspired by her culture, family and community.
